It's a social psych experiment. I always liked those. I'm pretty good at keeping my home decluttered but not so much my relationships, I tend to let everyone in or no one all and lately it's been no one at all. I decided I didn't want to be such a hermit but that I only want people in my life that I can be myself with, and that give back...no more soul-sucking, one-sided, unfulfilling relationships. Life is just too short to be that miserable if you don't have to.
